NBN Outages at Subiaco POI due to Backhaul Fibre Break

NBN Subscriber links at Subiaco POI were restored earlier today.

Update: Fibre crews are due on-site at 7AM AWST to repair damage. Further updates to be provided.

Further Updates:

Fibre fault found on RX Path from Data Centre towards Wellington Exchange. Tech on route to Data Centre to investigate further from that end.

Please be informed that CT attended the task and tested the fibers. He has located break at approximately 400m from METRONODE PERTH 2 DATA CENTRE @ SHENTON PARK, WA 6008. There is construction work going on just down the road.

Backhaul Carrier is currently trying to resource a fibre crew and we will update you with more information as updates become available.

Some NBN customers are experiencing outages in and around the city due to an incident impacting the Subiaco point of inter-connect.

Fibre Break issue has been identified and is currently under investigation. No ETR available at this time, updates will be provided when available.
