NBN Internet Outage in Western Australia
Inter-capital ethernet links between WA-SA-VIC experienced an outage due to external carrier faults impacting layer2 paths to multiple destinations. Redundant capacity was brought online and the issue been resolved overnight.
Webvault technicians have recorded a loss of internet connectivity to all NBN POIs here in Western Australia except for 6KAT in Katanning. South West NBN services remain online whilst all others are currently experiencing an outage.
An upstream network provider has also recorded the issue so the fault appears to be outside of Webvault's network domain.
We will provide more information once investigation is completed.
