NBN Outage Impacting POI 6GLT Geraldton
Services have now been restored to 6GLT/Geraldton as of 7.33AM WST/GMT+8
Backhaul Carrier has identified a fault on the fibre network at 16:44 AEDT 26/03/2025 affecting intercap transmission, regional transmission, dark fibre and NBN services between Geraldton and Arramall in WA. The fibre break has been located, and the fibre splicing and civil crews have been mobilized.
The fibre technicians and civil team have arrived at the fault location and started the preparation work. The team is facing challenges digging through the hard-packed driveways with the on-site excavator, causing delays.
No ETR at this stage.
There is currently an NBN outage impacting connectivity to the Geraldon NBNCo POI.
NBN customers North of Joondalup up through the North West are likely to be impacted by this outage.
Carriers are currently investigating we will advise when more information is available.
